These terms apply when you use LocalPDF. By using the website you agree to them. They are short because the service is simple: free tools that run in your browser.
Using the tools
You may use LocalPDF for personal and commercial work, free of charge. You are responsible for the documents you process and for having the right to modify them. Don't use the service to break the law or anyone else's rights, or to disrupt the website (for example by automated scraping or attacks).
Your files
Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us, so we never obtain any rights to them, and we cannot access, back up or recover them. Keep your own copies of anything important.
No warranty
LocalPDF is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make the tools correct and reliable, but we can't promise that every PDF will be processed perfectly, that the service will always be available, or that results will meet a particular requirement (for example an upload size limit). Always check your output before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of LocalPDF. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Third-party services
The website shows ads from Google and uses Umami for cookieless analytics, as described in our privacy policy. Those services are governed by their own terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: hello@localpdf.example.
