Rotate PDF pages and save the result permanently. Turn the whole document at once or fix only the pages that came out sideways, with no loss in quality.
How to rotate PDF pages
- Click "Choose file" and pick the PDF with the sideways pages; a thumbnail of each page appears.
- Click "Rotate all left" or "Rotate all right", or select the sideways pages and rotate just those.
- Use the rotate buttons on any single page to turn it, and Undo if you change your mind.
- Click "Save PDF" and download your rotated file.
Rotating in a reader vs saving the rotation
Most PDF viewers have a rotate button, but it only changes how the page looks on your screen right now. Close the file or send it to someone else and the page is sideways again. This tool writes the new orientation into the PDF itself, so it stays fixed in every app, on every device and when printed.
Rotation is lossless. The tool only changes each page's rotation setting. It does not re-render anything, so text, images and links stay exactly as they were and the file size barely changes.
Tips for mixed documents
Scanned bundles often have just a few landscape or upside-down pages. Click those thumbnails to select them, then use "Rotate selected left" or "Rotate selected right". Rotation is relative to how each page looks now, so a page that is already turned moves another 90 degrees from its current position.
Frequently asked questions
Will rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are not redrawn or recompressed. Only the rotation value is changed, so the content is identical to the original.
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Use the rotate buttons on that page's thumbnail, or select it and use the rotate selected buttons. Other pages stay as they are.
How do I turn a page upside down?
Rotate it twice in the same direction. Each click turns the page 90 degrees.
What is the saved file called?
The download keeps your original name with "-rotated" added, for example report-rotated.pdf. Your original file is not changed.
Can I rotate a PDF on my iPhone or Android phone?
Yes, it works in mobile browsers. Tap the thumbnails to select pages. Very large files may be slow on phones with limited memory.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Locked PDFs can't be opened for now. Unlocking support is planned.
